None of the mic options allowed me to dictate with any measure of precision. I tried with three different microphones: my laptop's built-in mic (which would have been most convenient), a relatively cheap headset (which is the most comfortable one I have), and a high-end gaming headset (which I would have expected to work the best). ![]() ![]() But the deal breaker to me was the quality of dictation. The dashboard interface looked outdated-like something from the late nineties-and was complicated to learn. The software was compatible with MS Word's comment feature (I could dictate into comment bubbles). Yuck! The customer service was also terrible, with slow response times to email and blunt, unfriendly replies. That means it cost me $23.99 to try out a clunky, outdated, and functionally useless software for half a day. You only get 88 percent of your investment back. ![]() It's on me for not reading the fine print, but be warned: This is NOT a true money-back guarantee. Comments: The money-back guarantee is very difficult to find on the website-I actually never saw the details of it until I emailed customer support to ask.
